My husband brought me here a few times and the food was always delicious. I really enjoyed the oxtails, curry chicken, curry goat, jerk chicken, red snapper, and jerk pork. He cooked my plantains fresh to order. I will definitely be back. Scoop dawg reminds me of my late father in law he is also from Jamaica it’s his smile. The atmosphere is nice too with Jamaican music playing. I highly recommend 10/10!!

Try this eatery and support local biz! Very good, hot, fresh, and fast. Jerk pork and curry chicken is what I tried. He know’s his stuff. Nice portions and priced right. I’ll be back to try more for sure!

Did you know there is a Jamaican food spot in Elmwood Place? Yes! This place has style, flavor, and personality when it comes to delicious and filling Jamaican food. Check this spot out, and they are reasonable, free parking, you cab call ahead, and most importantly, the food is hot !!

When I tell you the food is phenomenal I mean phenomenal! The ox tail that is served on friday and saturdays is sooo good, as well as the jerk chicken. For the sides the green beans (string beans) is the best I have ever had. My boyfriend and I have ate here several times now and we have never been disappointed. The workers are really nice, as well, and for the price you are given A LOT of food. As in it lasts me a couple of meals throughout the week. I truly recommend this place, it deserves to get so much more business. Our usual order is: - Ox tail with sides of the beans and cabbage. (10/10) - Jerk chicken with sides of rice and string beans. (10/10)

Probably the best Jamaican food I've ever had. We got takeout for my birthday. Big portions. We got curried goat, Curry chicken, and jerked chicken. Yeah we ate a lot. The gravy was absolutely stellar! Service was friendly, and the people and the owner are just really nice. The flavor is absolutely authentic. I would be sad that I ate all of mine but then I remembered that I got extra. Is it okay to eat Jamaican food for breakfast? Yeah I think that's okay. We are customers for life. I updated our review, as we got 2/27/23, goat curry!!! Brah, ain't nothing better!!! We could hardly walk after our meal. Oh, and jerked pork...my man's got smokers out back, ...there is no better Jamaican food anywhere...oh, and rice and peas and his cabbage (provisions)...fire!
